                               ***   Helpful Info Part 3 Death Certificates ***

**  Getting Certified Copies of Death Information: Please Read **

Please note that Certified Copies of Death can and may take 7-15 Business Days for us to receive" (and this is under normal circumstances.)

At times Certified Copies of Death can and will take longer. There are many, many reasons some Death Certificates can take longer than others.

1.If the manner of death was referred to the medical examiner’s office: this can take weeks to get Certified Copies

    2.If an autopsy was performed: This can Weeks to Months get Certified Copies.

    3.Doctors will not sign Death Certificates on weekends: This can and will take                 longer to get Certified Copies.

   4. If any mistakes are made when the filing of the Death Certificate is filed, it can            take longer to get Certified Copies. 

   5.Sometimes the information that is put on the certificate may be wrong and                 needs to be corrected. This can take longer to get Certified Copies.

   6.It is not uncommon for Certified Copies of Death to take weeks even month to           get copies.

We hope this information will help you understand the process and complications when trying to get Certified Copies of Death.

Under Normal Circumstances and Without any Complications, it will and can take 7-10 Days to receive your certified copies of death.

(Death Certificates are Not Mailed to us we must go and pick them up from the Health Department.)

                              *** CLOTHING Needed For The Deceased  ***

THE FOLLOWING CLOTHING IS REQUIRED FOR ALL FUNERAL SERVICES AND VIEWINGS FOR THE DECEASED.

 You Must Include Undergarments, and Socks. For Men and Women, they are very necessary.

 Men's Pants or Ladies Slacks can be used but No Skinny Jeans

A Long-Sleeve tops like Shirts and Women’s Blouses and Turtlenecks are Best.

No Thin or See Through Clothing, No V Neck or Low-Cut Neckline Clothing can be used.

No Short Sleeve or Sleeveless Shirts or Women’s Blouses can be used without a Jackets or Sweater.

Woman's Dresses can be used if they have long sleeves and a high neckline.

Long Sleeve Jackets and Sweater’s can be used over other clothing.

Shoes are not required. Hats are not required.

If You are using a Suit, please include Socks, Undergarments, Shirt and a Tie with the Suit.

If you are using Jewelry, please keep it to no more than 2 to 4 pieces.

Please let our staff know if the Jewelry is to stay with the deceased or be given back to the family after the services.

Please try to bring clothing that fits the deceased.

                                                 Helpful Info Part 5                                                                                                                Identification For A Cremation

  Identification is important so that the family and the cremation company are certain that the body being cremated is that of their loved one. Many funeral homes and crematories have strict processes surrounding this and are required to get authorization before a cremation is done. The funeral home or crematory will issue an authorization form that needs to be signed by the family before a cremation can take place. Please Note That the ID of a body at times can be very upsetting to some people,
